Robert Buckley   Alan Hooper    

A founder member of SCF, Robert has fulfilled senior roles with a number of leading asset based lenders. Robert has led a series of ground breaking transactions within the UK and European ABL market, and has considerable experience in the provision of both junior debt facilities and equity investment. Robert is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, a Chartered Marketer and is a business graduate from the Manchester School of Management at UMIST now part of the Manchester Business School.

  

A co-founder of SCF, Alan qualified as a solicitor in 1969 and has since specialised in finance law within the financial services sector. Alan commenced his career with a newly formed subsidiary of Slater Walker, and most recently was a Director, Company Secretary and General Counsel for GMAC Commercial Finance, a significant asset based lender in the UK. Over the years, Alan has probably been involved in more ABL transactions in the UK and Europe than any other lawyer.
